This workshop is sponsored by the Health Advising Office for all pre-health professional students for the purpose of providing information and advice on how to handle a professional school interview. The information is universal and helpful regardless of your professional interests (i.e. Medicine, Dentistry, Physical Therapy, Nursing, etc.) and provides an opportunity to learn from students who have experienced the interview process first-hand, as well as to ask questions and practice your interviewing skills. There is no charge for this service, and participation is not reported to any professional school of any kind, it is purely for your benefit and assistance. In order that students get the most out of the workshops, the number is limited to six participants per session. Preference will be given to seniors currently in the process of applying.

Workshops are held in room 142 of the Dental School from 5pm to 6pm, with time for questions afterwards. Since many students are not familiar with this part of campus, we will meet in front of the Health Sciences Library (closest to the street) and walk you to the room. Please BE ON TIME. The workshop will cover a basic overview of the typical interview day, then go through common interview questions. The last half of the workshop will then be spent practicing the interview and getting feedback on your interviewing skills. There will be plenty of time for questions, as well.
